  • Ex-chargé de cours à l’Université d’Ottawa et à l’Université du Québec.
  • Depuis 1986, il donne plus de 200 conférences chaque année dans nombre d’entreprises, d’institutions, d’associations et d’organisations au Canada, en France, en Suisse, en Belgique, en Allemagne, en Martinique, en Guadeloupe, au Portugal et dans d’autres pays.
  • Parmi ses ouvrages : Le choc des générations, Du je triomphant au nous rassembleur (Éditions Château d’encre, 2017, 9e Édition, vendu à plus de 60 000 exemplaires) a été réédité neuf fois et son succès ne se dément pas au fil des ans. Paul Broad is Counsel to Hicks Morley Hamilton Stewart Storie LLP, and is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Paul has a general labour and employment practice, and works with a variety of employers in both the public and private sectors.  Paul regularly advises temporary help agencies and other staffing companies.  His expertise includes employment standards, labour relations, privacy and information management, and human rights and accessibility-related issues.  In addition to providing practical day-to-day advice to clients, Paul assists with complex compliance initiatives – particularly focusing on employment standards compliance.

Steve is a professional speaker, executive coach, trainer and consultant. He is also a multiple franchise owner of Qualicare Home Care, owner of Socialite Internet Marketing and sits on several corporate and charity boards. He is a past national president of ACSESS and a member of the Association’s Circle of Excellence.

As CEO of Randstad Canada, Marc-Étienne is responsible for the strategic oversight of the Canadian business operations of the company. He works with a team of more than 800 caring and talented employees across the country and is dedicated to helping people and organizations achieve their full potential. 

Marc-Étienne is passionate about driving the digital transformation of the human capital space by embracing technology and innovation to create an experience that is inherently more human for all Canadian job seekers and employers.  

In 2014, Marc-Étienne founded the Ride for Myriam, a charitable bike ride created to honour one Randstad employee’s fight against cancer. Since then, Randstad and its employees have raised more than $250 000 to benefit the Princess Margaret Foundation and the American Cancer Society. 

In 2018, Randstad Canada was awarded one of the best workplaces in Canada by the Great Place to Work Institute Canada for the 12th consecutive year

Mary McIninch

Speaker Bio:

Mary holds an LL.B. and Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours in Political Science) from the Universities of Ottawa and McGill, respectively, and is a member of the Quebec Bar Association. Mary joined ACSESS in 2000, where she works closely with staff and elected leaders to develop ACSESS as a leading industry association, and provides comprehensive government relations services representing members’ interests in jurisdictions across Canada.

Rhéaume Perreault

 

Partner, Fasken Matineua DuMoulin LLP

Speaker Bio:

Rhéaume focuses his practice on labour and employment law in Fasken Martineau DuMoulin’s Montréal office.

He acts as a strategic adviser for many employers in small, medium and large-sized enterprises, helping them with the planning and reorganization of their HR. Rhéaume also frequently serves as a negotiator in connection with collective bargaining agreements and represents clients, in particular, before the Superior Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal and various administrative tribunals.

Rhéaume works with employers from the private and public sectors, as well as with non-profit organizations. He has provided professional advice to ACSESS on a number of industry files. He frequently takes part in specialized conferences and provides substantial corporate training on various topics including: the workplace in the social media age; pre-employment traps; the duty to accommodate; drug and alcohol screening, privacy laws in the private and public sectors; and employment contracts.

 

Marc-André Robert

 

Associé, Global Ressources Humaines

Speaker Bio:

Me Marc-André Robert, CRIA holds a Law degree from the Université de Montréal, and was called to the Quebec Bar in December 1999. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and practiced labour and employment law in major national law firms before leaping into the business world. He has held many positions in human resources, notably as Vice-President of Human Resources and Legal Affairs at a well-known multinational company. He was also President of a human resources management and labour relations consulting firm before founding Global Human Resources. In addition to acting as Lecturer in Employment Law in the Faculty of Legal Sciences at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Mr. Robert sits on the Disciplinary Revision Committee of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec (CHRP), of which he is a member. Mr. Robert is also a Certified management consultant (CMC). Mr. Robert is President of the Quebec chapter of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS), and is regularly invited to give speeches on various aspects of labour relations and human resources management.

Me Marc-André Robert, CRIA est diplômé en droit de l’Université de Montréal et a été admis au Barreau du Québec en décembre 1999. Il est également détenteur d’un baccalauréat en relations industrielles et a pratiqué le droit du travail et de l’emploi dans de grands cabinets d’avocats nationaux avant de faire le saut en entreprise. Il a occupé plusieurs fonctions au niveau des ressources humaines dont notamment la vice-présidence des ressources humaines et des affaires juridiques d’une multinationale reconnue. Il a également été président d’une firme de consultation en matière de gestion des ressources humaines et des relations de travail avant de fonder Global Ressources Humaines. En plus d’être chargé de cours en droit de l’emploi à la faculté des Sciences juridiques de l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Me Robert siège sur le comité de révision en matière disciplinaire de l’Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec (CRHA) dont il est membre. Me Robert est également membre des administrateurs agréés du Québec (Adm.A.). Me Robert est président de l’Association nationale des entreprises en recrutement et placement de personnel (ACSESS) pour le chapitre du Québec et il est régulièrement invité à prononcer des conférences sur divers sujets reliés aux relations de travail et à la gestion des ressources humaines.

Tricia has started eight successful companies, one of which she has been running since phones had cords. Among the Executive Search community she has been known for years and quoted in multiple magazines, trade journals and by other trainers and career coaches. In the 1990s, when most in the industry still didn’t have a computer on their desk, she started combining Boolean logic and search strings with strong phone techniques and became a very successful recruiter. Her deep experience in business over the last 20 years enables her to see the big picture for virtually anyone’s needs.

Jason started teaching logic in college, due to what he suspects was a prank from his professor. Twenty years later, he still does that. Along the way he’s been a USAF officer, manufacturing plant manager, and now recruits and trains with Moore eSSentials. With his downtime, Jason is working on his second degree Black Belt, is a published horror author, and solves mysteries with his Great Dane!
